The Azerbaijani Pavilion, themed "crossroads between east and west", is located in the European Union Hall 2. Inside the pavilion there are the Armenian Pavilion, the Albanian Pavilion, the Azerbaijani Pavilion, the Bulgarian Pavilion, the pavilion of the former Yugoslav republic of Macedonia, the Georgian Pavilion, the Montenegrin Pavilion and the Moldovan pavilion.
Azerbaijan was one of the earliest places of human habitation and found evidence of it. The earliest evidence was found in neanderthals of the prestone age: Gobustan, Azykh andTaghlar, rock paintings and wild life descriptions. The ancient history and culture of the country will be displayed in the expo theme section, which include scientific and technical materials; electronic encyclopedia of the history and culture of the Azerbaijani republic; the history of Azerbaijani town architecture; an old map of Azerbaijan. All of these reflect Azerbaijan as an important bridge for the integration of Eurasian values.
