For the friends who love 007 movies, we must know that in the 21st 007 movie "Royal Casino", James Bond, who received the new mission, took the high-speed train and galloped in the mountains. Well, it’is Montenegro, a beautiful country on the east coast of Adria and southwest of the Balkans.
The Montenegro Pavilion is located in the second European Joint Pavilion in the C Zone of the Expo Park with the exhibition area of 324 square meters. At the entrance to the pavilion, an old arch bridge is mirrored and traversed in front of the visitors. The Tara Valley Bridge in Montenegro is in the location of the famous former Yugoslavian film Bridge. “The bridge between civilization and nature” is the theme of the National Museum of Montenegro. Through video, film, model, light and shadow, the designer simulated the peaks of the mountains and the seascape of Montenegro. In the pavilion, visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains, lakes, torrents and canyons of Montenegro. In addition, the two-sided large screens on both sides of the pavilion showcase the beauty of Montenegro and the leisure city life, creating a great experience for visitors to be surrounded by beautiful scenery. In the heart of the people of Montenegro, this land under the foot is a "bridge" connecting civilization and nature, the East and the West, the mountains and water, the faith and the culture.
Profile of the pavilion: The natural beauty of Montenegro gives infinite inspiration to our designers. The façade is made of sheet metal, which is modern, and the abstract geometry is reminiscent of the rolling hills with colorful projections to create a superb visual effect. Around the pavilion, the undulating stainless steel plates form a projection screen of different sizes, the mottled light and shadow are reflected from the gap of the steel plate, which is in harmony with the scenery short film on the screen. Multicolored lampposts change their color and stand in the "mountains" .They symbolize the forest resources of Montenegro and harmony between man and nature. Forests, natural parks, coastal cities and other exhibits will fully show the endless charm of Montenegro. The "mountains" mimic Montenegro's famous Lovcen Hill, where the ground slope gradually becomes steep as visitors move forward. The museum will also use video, pictures and other ways to simulate the coastal city of Kotor-Varos.
Touring route: The designer has arranged a quick tour through the panorama of Montenegro. The wall of the pavilion is modeled on the mountains of Montenegro, with varying shades of colors to simulate the view of an aircraft flying over the mountain. The reflective surface is reminiscent of rivers, lakes and oceans. It is as if the visitors descended slowly from the highest peak of Montenegro and passed through the woodlands to the sea, beautiful beaches, charming towns, rugged rocks, green forests, and the distinctive Mediterranean waves. Due to the mountainous and narrow terrain of Montenegro, you can enjoy the four seasons at the same time. You may just be in Kotor-Varos bay, soaking in the blue romance, and three hours' drive away to the icy waters of the Durmitor National Park for the white fun, with several medieval towns scattered along the sprawling coastline and the beige old city walls forming the bonds of history.
Under the theme of "Montenegro - the bridge between civilization and nature", the pavilion will showcase the natural, historical, cultural and economic potential of this multicultural country. At the same time, we also hope to use the Shanghai World Expo to continue to consolidate our traditional friendship and profound bilateral relations with China and promote the sharing of resources and experience between the two sides.
