On 22nd November, Mrs. Li Shuyan, general manager of Space Idea International Exhibition Group, accompanied leaders of the SCO secretariat to the construction site of SCO Exhibition Park to observe progress of the project and guide the next step.
During this visit, leaders listened to the planning and design of the SCO exhibition park, conducted field research on the overall progress, and exchanged views on the overall planning and construction plan of the SCO exhibition park.
"Shanghai cooperation organization Exhibition Park" is located in G29, with the total area of about 1036 square meters it is close to the international pavilion, life-experience pavilion. It embodies the purposes and principles of the Shanghai cooperation organization, namely the "Shanghai spirit" of "mutual trust, mutual benefit, equality, consultation, and respect for diverse civilizations and pursuit of common development". This exhibition park selects the emblem of SCO and the spirit connotation to carry on the design fusion, with horticultural technique to create Shanghai spirit and the idealized display platform.
