Entrusting Party: Otis
Located in the core area of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), the Otis Elevator TEDA Base covers an area of about 141,643 square meters and has a green rate of 23.02%. It is the first green demonstration plant of Otis and its parent company United Technologies in the world. In addition, Otis Elevator TEDA Base was selected as the first "green plant" by Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China.
The Otis elevator TEDA Base, with the core of leading technology, is positioned to develop and manufacture top technologies and products such as high-tech core components and high-speed gearless elevators for high-rise buildings. Its main products are about "green, energy-saving and efficient", aiming to support China's sustainable development strategy and lead the development trend of the elevator industry.
The plan and design of this exhibition hall will focus on "safety" and “authenticity “of TEDA Otis Factory, highlighting the sense of science and technology, and creating difference from the traditional elevator type of enterprise performance. The core of design concept is the green, environment-friendly, recyclable technology display and artistic. It aims to create spiritual atmosphere and emotional theme of humanistic museum.
